Is there any borderline to consider for reduction of medications?

I personally feel that I am taking overdoses of diabetic medication ( 2x 1000/50 Janumet, 1x500mg Metformin, 1x30 mg Diamicron ) with recent addition of Diamicron 30 mg by my doctor as my last HbA1c was 7.2% . I have been trying some herbal products (raw and natural form such as Cinamon powders, Fenugreek seeds ). Maintaining walking habit at least for 40 minutes daily . My intense diabetes control approach has just been for one month . Now I see significant reduction of daily BS readings (ranging mostly from 6.0 to 7.0 ) tested at different segments of the day (both fasting, before meal, 2 hours after meal, before bed ....) . My HbA1c test is not yet due and I can not see my doctor before December . I am seeking opinion from the forum members whether you know about any borderline in average BS readings when you will feel that you need to adjust medication and seek the doctors advice . I have the feeling that by skipping some of the doses I still could maintain the same readings I am having now . What do you think?

I would want a good run of HbA1c to estalish a pattern, before I would consider reducing my meds, then in agreement with my doctor.
(I have actually done it this way)
