After my post yesterday I feel so much better today. Should I still ring the diabetes clinic and ask for help? X

I would and because you're feeling a bit better you'll probably find it easier to explain everything to them.

Good luck

Yes please go and get some help then if you have another day like that you'll have the tools to deal with it.
Take care xxx

Glad to see that your feeling better now :D . I suggest still going, because you never know when your going to be like that again, and its always best to prepared for another time like that. I really recommend going if your blood sugars are still running high, even if you slowly lower them down.

Well I left a message on the answer phone at 830. Let's hope they haven't washed their hands of me already x

Hi Nicnak -- DO keep ringing -- don't trust an answer phone. Be polite but insistent -- this is really serious. Paul is right -- if you're not feeling as bad, then you will be able to explain how you were feeling in a more fluent and articulate fashion. See my reply on your other thread too. OK, I will stop nagging now! :D

Yep, you can all nag me or give me a virtual kick up the bottom. The DSN rang at 530 and will make an appointment to see her and the dietitian in a couple of weeks, until then I have you lovely lot for support xx

NikNak .

You need support from your DSN/Dietician .
Ask for it - 'support' - very few of us actually use this word
when at clinic/hospital appointments .

You also have us to support and help you along here too
Don't give up - hang in there - things will feel more manageable gradually .
We all learn and grow in our journey , living/coping with diabetes .
I learnt quick by my 'mistakes' (the hard way!)

Anna .

I'm glad you've spoken to them! A few weeks is a long time though, if you find yourself really struggling though call then again straight away
