- soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
I just got back from seeing th doctor at our local "out of Hours" service. It happened to be one from my own health centre, who told me he'd swapped with my own GP this evening.
Anyway just after eating my dinner tonight,( beef stew and brussells sprouts,1 grape sized new potato) A swelling came up on my face. In the space of about 15 minutes. It's just below my left ear and looks like mumps. Doesn't hurt.
Doctor says it's most likely a blocked salivary duct and will likely go away by itself, but if it hasn't by Monday, go in to the health centre.
I had guessed it wast the parotid gland, because there's nothing much else there and my teeth are fine and nothing hurts.
Then I got to thinking, is this one of those not directly related to diabetes things diabetics get? Bernstein doesn't mention it.
