P pinkpixie2478 Newbie May 12, 2022 #1 I am having a blood test tomorrow and looking at the form, it doesn't say if it's fasting or not. Amongst other things I have: (GLX) Glucose (Fluoride) (FLIP) Lipid Profile Anyone know? I've tried googling GLX but get no results relating to anything called GLX!

I am certain that it would have stated on the request form to be a non fasting test!

Dark Horse Well-Known Member May 13, 2022 #4 According to this document, GLX = random glucose (GLXF = fasting glucose). https://www.acb.org.uk/static/170dd...-OGTT-in-Colchester-Hospital-pre-pandemic.pdf According to this document, FLIP = fasting lipid profile (and LIP would be non-fasting) https://qpulse.ipp-uk.com/QPulseDoc.../documents/active/attachment?number=PF-PTD-90
