She tests twice weekly, eats anything she likes, including cake and is always in the 4s. She told me that once she stopped taking her tablets for a few weeks and ended up in the 5s and 6s. Iwonder if she's trully diabetic at all.

Regards, Tubs.
You can get swim goggles with lenses - mine are -8.5. If they had been available 60 years ago I might have enjoyed swimming. I've only used them once.hanadr said:Have you looked for a water exercise class? I can do things in the water, which I'd never manage on land. In fact I'm proud of myself today. Jean dropped her glasses to the bottom of the pool and i was able to dive down and get them. I also wear glasses, but leave mine in a case in my swimbag.

I wish you well and hope you feel well enough to exercise soon. I go to water exercises twice a week, with the aforementioned lady, who is going on for 80 and has had a knee replaced. she does the water exercises every week too. In fact we are the "founder members" of the class. I don't know how much more exercise, Jean does in the week, but I suspect not much. she doesn't walk very well.
