Hello everyone,
I havent posted for a while as things have been very busy.
For the last few days I have had an ache in my right hand, when I try to open a bottle top or jar lid I get intense pain and some weakness. Sometimes when I raise my arm, I get pain in my upper arm.
My blood sugars are under control but my cholesterol was raised. I was put on simvestatin 40mg but I often forget to take them.

What do you folks think, could it just be a strain of some sort?

Thanks.
Jim

Hi Jim,

Sorry to hear about the pain you have in your arm, I'm also having similar issues, which now has turned into a "frozen shoulder" because it was just being ignored, you should take this seriously and see your GP and ask to be put onto either Gabapentine or Pregabalin theses medication have specifically to deal with nerve problems and issues that normally start in the arms or feet, legs upwards so as soon as you feel severe pain, that a normal pain relief does not control, that it when you need your GP to prescribe medication that is nerve related.
Hope this was helpful, do take care.
Good Luck !!

Thanks for the advice, I have an appointment for next Wednesday. Hopefully it will get some relief soon.
Jim
