I'm on Metformin 2g per day and my doctors appointment for my last blood test came back as elevated sugars.
Do you think having a GAD test for LADA might help show up a different treatment path is needed or shall I just soldier on in the same model when I think I may have been misdiagnosed? I was only diagnosed in October 2022
 
Why do you think you’ve been misdiagnosed?
 
I have for a long long time been vocal for more testing to stop the one size fits all GP approach to T2.
I was misdiagnosed in 2009 with T2.
Eventually got referred to an endocrinologist, got the necessary tests and was found to be non diabetic with a rare condition.

So when you get results, ask the questions that are going to get you the answers and the tests.
Knowledge is important, treating you individually, is necessary for a good outcome to treatment and dietary balance tailored for you.
