Thank you SO much for this solution!! Am on holiday and been 24 hours without any idea about sugar levels …. and this has SAVED my bacon. Hugely grateful….Android users seem to have escaped. This is an iOS issue for the new Abbott software.
A simple solution is just to download Shuggah from the Apple Store and use that with your existing sensor until Abbott get their act together.
Abbott farm out their software development and past history has not been good for Apple compatibility. This could take some time so just use a working 3rd party product for the time being.
For android users, in the unlikely event you also have problems with the new software, just use Juggluco .com.
Both Juggluco and Shuggah cope with the current 1 minute sensor output.
Will this delete all my data.
I have tried clicking on it but still won’t open up. I have now emailed Abbott as can’t get through on phoneif you click on your initials/picture in the top right corner of the App Store and then click on purchased, you can search for the freestyle app and download from the purchased section, even though you can't find it when you search directly on the App Store.
Yep, watch vibrates & shows readings, didn’t have to do anything, Watch is a garmin fenix 6s pro which is connected to my iPhonewhen you say it sends to your smart watch how does that happen can you look at your watch and it shows yours bloods without needing to scan?
Just done this now. So have Shuggah readings across my screen and able to scan sensor tooOk just fixed the problem on my iPhone.
1. Remove the app on your phone by holding finger over the Libre icon and then ‘x’ to delete..
2. Reinstall Libre View from purchased apps in App finder. To do this press your profile pic or initials, in the top right of App Store
3. Select Libre View from drop down and reinstall- you will have to enter your account details, or get a password sent if forgotten.
4. Scan existing or new Sensor
Don’t think the alarms will work until you start a new sensor, I’ve downloaded shugar , hopefully the alarms will work on that when I go out of rangeHi, Thanks for the tip, I reinstalled the app from the purchased app and logged back in.
I scanned the sensor Libre 2 I had when the app crashed, and it worked
BUT alarms don't seem to work anymore. it hasn't updated my range and doesn't show the usual lines on the console. Do I need to start another sensor? Thanks
hi this happenned to me this morning , just get a white screen when going in to the app ! at least I now know that is not anHey! I literally just posted about the same thing!!
Yes, I’m having the same problem too. I managed to get through to someone on the phone after being on hold for 2 hours!!!
They have said they updated the app and it’s gone wrong and they have people working on it at the moment. However, they are unsure of when it will be up and running again
See my recent post - I am using an alterntive app that does the same as Libre.hi this happenned to me this morning , just get a white screen when going in to the app ! at least I now know that is not an
issue with my phone and can stop trying to resolve at my end end : guess will just have to be patient and back to the old finger pricking (boo hoo)
ok thats brillYep, watch vibrates & shows readings, didn’t have to do anything, Watch is a garmin fenix 6s pro which is connected to my iPhone

i am eagerly awaiting response. ive gone into iq connect store and ive added drip x app now trying to download a watch face for cgmHi can I ask how you have enabled this as have same watch - what app/ method have you enabled this… some setting in garmin connect??
It’s ok using a third party app until you need to start a new sensor. This can on,y be done in the libre app or on a reader.
Having said that I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro. I updated my app yesterday, but don’t allow libre to access Bluetooth as I use XDrip4ios. My libre app is still working and I managed to start a new sensor with it this afternoon,
I have just done this and it worked thanks for the post. If anyone who is getting a blank screen deletes the app. Does exactly what the post above says, then download it again. You can continue using the libre you still have on. Although u will lose all of your data off the app.if you click on your initials/picture in the top right corner of the App Store and then click on purchased, you can search for the freestyle app and download from the purchased section, even though you can't find it when you search directly on the App Store.
I didn’t have to do anything specific. I did have to tap on the Bluetooth icon in Shuggar and follow the instructions and be particularly patient waiting for it to connect with my phone, but I got there in the end. I then went into the phone Bluetooth settings and checked that the sensor was there and connected, which it was. At first I got notifications every minute which was a bit annoying but you can select how many minutes between each notification within the Shuggar settings. Shuggar seems brilliant apart from that you cannot enter your insulin injections or your carbohydrate consumption. The big issue is that a new sensor must be activated by the LibreLink app that you can’t now use until they fix it, or a reader, which I don’t have.Hi can I ask how you have enabled this as have same watch - what app/ method have you enabled this… some setting in garmin connect??
I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work. Still a blank screen.if you click on your initials/picture in the top right corner of the App Store and then click on purchased, you can search for the freestyle app and download from the purchased section, even though you can't find it when you search directly on the App Store.

download the shuggah appt, it very easy to do, and understand.I didn’t have to do anything specific. merci, I discovered the app. Super helpful! I didn't have to change the sensor! MerciDon’t think the alarms will work until you start a new sensor, I’ve downloaded shugar , hopefully the alarms will work on that when I go out of range
