It could be something as simple as 'Prickly heat' but with your history of NAFLD then I would be off to the doc for a LFT blood test.

Best wishes

Chuckles21 ...

Something's to consider with the itching all over is -
Check all your medication packaging leaflets included for listed
"itching" side effects ...
Just 'maybe' a certain medication could be causing this ?

If you have any concerns - wisest and best to vist your own GP

Other things to consider is 'possible' allergy to wash/laundry powder or gels agents ?
Try a nonbiological laundry wash powder gel maybe - see if makes a
marked difference .
Same with all your soaps/shower gels/toiletries used also .
Maybe one of these is causing the itching ?
Perfumes or aftershaves too can be the triggers to some peoples 'itchiness' again .

If you cant see any of these being a possible cause - really best to vist your GP
Raise this up with him/her for your own peace of mind .

Hope this can help .

Anna .

Exactly,Your liver condition really does warrant a blood test to check all is well and hopefully all will be well.

Best

I forgot to say I have just got rid of the adult version of the mumps ( acute parotitis ) which came from no where I don't know how I got it but I know being diabetic means the immune system is compromised

The all over body itching has returned so I saw the doctor who put me on antihistamines whilst I wait for the blood test results to come back hopefully it will tell me what's going on
