Itchy after injecting

I've been injecting insulin for just over a week, lantus, and every time I inject, I end up itchy hours later. However, tonight it's the worst it's been.

I injected at 9pm and its now 12.30am. I'm injecting on the stomach and there isn't a rash or anything, but it does feel a bit 'pimply'.

I know you're not doctors, but is it possible I'm having a reaction to the insulin?
