I don't want to do this much, but like others I feel I can't get out of it.
My avatar is a pin-cushion. I do have one exactly like my avatar. I like sewing, but it's apt for 2 other reasons: one, I'd rather not keep looking at a picture of my face, thank you; two, we diabetics tend to have a lot of blood tests, symbolised for me by this pin-cushion stuck with pins, which looks like a big fat blob of blood ready for its hbA1c. We, people with diabetes, Chinese or not, join hands around the blood blob in solidarity and support.
In all seriousness and honesty, I have really appreciated and continue to do so, all the advice, understanding and humour from the nice people on this forum.
