I followed the link and read the article.
My take on this could be summarised as;
the more we practise, the more efficient we get. I do about 6 hours of FORMAl exercise [in a group at the gym] per week. It's made me fitter. My endurance is better. My mobility on my damaged left side is better, but my weight is STUCK!
