I stumbled across JRDF on the web, and I see very few references to it on here. I was thinking of going to one of their Discovery Days, has anyone here been to one, have thoughts or opinions on how good they are?
 
JDRF are amazing and their discovery days are great. They are the main organisation working to improve life for T1s. Go along, join, donate, participate.

As Spliker says, they do some amazing work for type 1's.
 
Ive been to 2 discovery days and they are worth going to as its a good opportunity to meet other diabetics and discuss the latest technology
 
Cheers Guys, good to get confirmation. I'm only just coming to terms with life as a T1 after 18 months, slow, starter but want o know and contribute more.
