Hi Kat
I am just starting out with exploring juicing but I am a little unsure of the amount of insulin I should take. I am an insulin dependent type 1. How do you manage? What do the Juices do to your blood sugars? Have you lost much/any?
Hello
I will update tomorrow. I have been type 1 for 28 yrs.
Bloods have been ok, I have had 2 hypos but that was due to a change in my humalin I.
I have been having a normal cereal breakfast with juice, juice for lunch then tea with rice noodles, so hopefully this will keep me balanced. I don't want to go 100% juice just yet as I think it would shock my body.
