Just Been Told I'm not Allowed My Test Strips

Chemist reluctantly issued me with my test strips for my meter,saying I should have received a new meter and everyone is to use the same meter anyone else heard about this

If you had a prescription for the test strips that you normally use then it's nothing to do with the pharmacist.
 
Some gp surgeries are changing their patients over to using one meter only (mainly due to cost savings), try and make a case to them why you want to keep your current meter if your not happy.
 
Well I would do but this is the first I have heard of this, my wife who is my carer, put in the prescription request as usual with the surgery it seems that the surgery would not issue the prescription, when my wife went to the chemist he was very apologetic and did give her the test strip cartridges.
But we have not been informed by the surgery, it has made us a little
