I had gestational diabetes 4 years ago! Recently I've been so tired, thirsty & needing a wee!!

I got out my old test out and approx 2 hours after eating the reading is 6.1

I can't remember what the levels should be! Is this anything go worry about do you think??

6.1 is not alarmingly high for a test 2 hours after a meal. Test again in another two hours and let us know the result. And test again in the morning before breakfast.

that level on its own isn't worrying

morning less than 5.5
1 hr after meal less than 8
2hr after meal less than 6.5

that worked fine
meters just give an indication and the dr test is accurate, but 5.9 first thing of a morning would be a touch high for normal and classed as pre-diabetic 5.5-7.0, without a lifestyle change you have a 33% chance of going onto diabetes, google 'insulin resistance'
