Hi
@Flutterbyent
great to hear of the improvements made.
but sad your still suffering.
I have no experience of neuropathy, i am T2D, but i was concerned.
so i did some digging to find out if b12 offered any assistance.
i have no baseline before Dx, but i have since been taking a B12 sublingual supplement.
and as of last month when that ran out i take a B12 complex tablet each day.
in july i had my latest HBA1c test and asked for the B12 to be tested.
the results can back as normal in range, but i am lower on that range, then i really like,
so i'll carry on with the complex for now.
it maybe helped me, and having done more then a few searches, it seems it does help,
there is a body of evidence that suggest Methylcobalamin offers the most benefits.
"...Methylcobalamin versus conventional vitamin B12 (1 study): the study found that the outcomes were better with methylcobalamin than with conventional vitamin B12 in terms of autonomic symptoms, somatosensory symptoms and electrophysiological results..."

This was just the first hit i got when googling, many others out there.
B12 is claimed to repair the nerve endings, so may in your case be of benefit.
here is an easier read of
B12.
it seems some T2D's suffer it, metformin related i think.
some vegans and vegetarians, can also.
as can some of us using LCHF, it seems,
all due to differing diet inadequacies, so worth a moments read.
I mention it only so you can do due diligence and maybe check for yourself.
I wish you the best of luck finding a way forward that works for you, and continuing your excellent progress.
