Went very well. Nurse pleased with all results, particularly HbA1c which was apparently 12 three months ago and has now fallen to eight. 10 out of 10 for foot sensitivity, couldn't agree on weight loss but she can see it has been good and to go with my results which show 11lbs over last three months.
Blood pressure down a bit as well and now 'fine' - possibly helped by starting to take exercise at the gym in the last three weeks.
Told to continue with diet and exercise and come back in six months.
Asked for flu jab and she also offerd pneumo, which I agreed to and then wished I hadn't afterwards. Flu jab was almost painless but pneumo stung and arm is sore at injection site. We'll see how it is over the weekend but warned it might be sore if I sleep on that arm - fortunately I usually sleep on the other side. Glad it is a one-off!

Hi,

Seems as though your heading in the right direction, showing improvement in many areas. Keep up the good work :)

Flu-jabs all part of having diabetes. There's a reason why we have them. I personally haven't had much pain from flu jabs but i'm a human pin cushion anyway  one more jab vs the flu, i know which one i'd rather have!
