Just had my Hba1C results :)

Just got my results emailed back to me and my Hba1C is down to 6.1%
Really happy with this as it was 13.5% when I was diagnosed last September. Happy that I have got this result without having lots of hypos too so it is a fair reflection of the work I have put into this

Yeah it is a nice feeling to have the numbers down lower, mine was 124 at diagnosis so am much happier with it now, just need to keep it there
Do you think yours would have come down when you have it taken?

Bri, hope so. The dn said I hadn't had it long, only a month perhaps due to the 66. My bg was 23 at diagnosis and ketones ++++.. Ive been under control now for coming up 4 months, well, I say control...sometimes bg is 10 or 11 here and there but mainly between 4-8 mmol.

Provided your overnight and in between meal readings are not doing weird things I think you will be happy with your results when you do them
