Who ever would have thought it possible... I am finally down to "normal" levels. And this on the day when I discovered Thornton's Turkish Delight bars. My happiness is complete!

What's this about Turkish Delight bars???????? I lurve TD - are the Thorntons lower in carbs? I quite like Thorntons choccies and if they are on offer (usually about Christmas in Tesco for £6 a big box) I buy a box and let myself have 1 choc after dinner. I have to hide them away in a cupboard. If they were in sight I'd be gabbing one every time I walked by. Well done on getting down to 6.4 you must be really pleased!

it's part of their Diabetic range Chris. It tasted perfect and didn't affect my levels at all

and pleased doesn't come close!

Well done tp. You have fought so hard to get to this level so no wonder you are so happy.

Well done Tree Peony, you must feel so proud, keep up the good work .

sorry to be a party pooper. did you do a one hour check. all im saying is if i eat porridge my 2 hr reading is 5.4. However the 1 hour reading will hit double figures easy. soory to damper i might be wrong but i suspect you 1 hour reading would of been different. Same with 1 chunk of dairy milk , 2 hour reading 4.9 1 hour reading 7 easy just be carefull

This is just the best news to come home to. I am absolutely thrilled for you, you SO deserve this - well done. xx

Don't worry It was a No Added Sugar version, and I've been on a long journey to get down to anything even approaching these levels

Well done TP
Think I'll have to investigate Thorntons, I've not had Turkish Delight for years. It was always a 'Christmas' treat when I was a child. Funny how being reminded of things makes you want them again.

this is covered in milk chocolate (zero added sugar) and utterly delish. It doesn't spike me at all
