Welcome to the forum. Your little girl is getting on very well. Congratulations on doing her first jab. You will meet lots of mums here. :)

Hi there and congrats. We never cease to stop learning when it comes to diabetes. Must be hard letting go of the responsibility and also for your daughter to take it on and head towards self management. I can say that carb counting gets to be pretty easy after a while. I even find my self adding up other people's meals. :D

Welcome, and well done to both of you.
Asyour daughter is starting to learn to carb count I wonder if might she find this new book on carb counting useful.
Carbs and Cals :A Visual Guide to Carbohydrate and Calorie Counting for People with Diabetes
by Chris Cheyette and Yello Balolia
I haven't seen it myself but I have read lots of good reviews and for people with right technology to use it there is an 'app'
