My partner has just done a urine glucose test it's come up that he has glucose in his urine we then tested his blood sugar and they are 4.0 mmol should he be concerned?

Think all of us on this site would love to have a 4 as a reading. 4 is normal.

I can't understand why urine should be showing in the urine when blood sugar has to be over around 11mmol to cause sugar in the urine? Strange

I would get him to the doctors just in case. Could be nothing but why risk it.
