Just once in a while


I have the same problem. I try not to let it bug me, but it does really.

The two things that bother me are
  • a high waking BG (mid 6s and above) with a pronounced dawn phenomenon rise until I eat (currently working on that).
  • A high fasting BG. Usually in the 6s but about once a fortnight it drops to 5.3 before bed.
These don't leave me much scope with my meals. If I want to stay under 7 after meals (approx) it's a challenge when you start at 6.6!
