Either way, you should take some quick acting carbs.......not slow acting, to raise your level into the safer area above 4 mmol/l. Only when the level is higher should you then have a small carby snack to stabilise the levels.
Porridge is slower acting carbs so the effect will be much later, this is why when people say that they can manage porridge we always tell them to test much later. It will probably start to rise soon.
Take too many carbs to correct and you may start a 'rollercoaster' effect up and down.
See the treatment for Hypo's in Greetings and Introductions.......

Keep some Glucose/Dextrose Tabs with you in future. Take 2 or 3 if that low again and test after around 10 - 15 mins. Fast acting.

Those mini cans of coke are the perfect size.... as i hate the taste of gluco tabs and they always make my mouth feel funny lol.
Whatever you use, make sure it's very quick. Bread, crackers etc isn't fast enough.... save them for 1/2 hour later to keep your levels high.
It can be a bit unnerving, did you have any symptoms?

Glucotabs or jelly-babies are my preference when dropping low. Those post-breakfast readings are really great (but a little low later in the morning) and perhaps tomorrow you could try eating 30g of porridge instead of 20g to see if this stops your blood glucose dropping, I was going to suggest this yesterday when you posted your 3 hour reading was 4.3, just remember to test again if you do and do come back with the results.
