Absolutely MINGING, put a tiny amount in, was mind blowingly sweet! I'm sure I can find a use for it as a sweetener in baking maybe but it was so overpowering in coffee. I prefer my coffee bitter I think. I've got a Kahlua one for my protein shakes, that smells like the real thing. Hope it tastes as good! Got some 100% cocoa solids too, no idea what I'm gonna do with that LOL

I use the ordinary vanilla essence from the baking section of the supermarket for my coffee. It's lovely. I bought some Waermelon Davinci. It's not wonderful, but I can use it in a lot of ways. It makes an acceptable drink with lemin juice added to cut the sweetness.
We have to think Davinci is made for American palettes. they love sweet stuff in the USA

Oh yes it is very sweet! I tend to mix it with mascapone and use it as the filling in a very low-carb cake (fergus recipe which nobody believes is low-carb and completely sugar free!) and as the sandwiching material in almond cookie things. I've also blended it up with tofu and used it in a low-carb cheesecake type thing and I've also used it blitzed with tofu, water and greek yogurt for a low-carb breakfast smoothie.

I don't use in very often but it works well in mascapone/cream etc when you need that sweet kick!

Get creative!

Katie :)
