During my 13 week launch into The Big D world I have managed to get my HbA1c test down from 11% to 7.5 % (as of today, Yipeee!)
Sorry I'm working in old money but not sure how to convert yet.
I'm telling you all, because everyone I've mentioned it to since I found out this morning, just stare blankly at me and say "is that good then?"
I want to scream YES but cant really explain to them why it's good.?
I know YOU all get it.....

Well done, in new money (IFCC) its 58.5 so its a good reduction.

There's a Hba1c calculator on the main community pages of DCUK that you can use yourself for future reference:
