Not very bright, is she.
If her victims ate keto, she’d be out of a job.
Actually - maybe she is very smart. The more people she can persuade to avoid keto the more likely it will be that she will have plenty of work forever.

Just noticed that she is a biggest Loser trainer. I vaguely remember reading that most of the contestants put the weight straight back on. I may be mis-remembering this - so apologies if I have posted wrong information.

In fairness she has a point. Humans evolved over the course of three million years or so surrounded by carbohydrate 24/7/365 and we already know that if you don’t consume exogenous glucose you will die before dawn.

Or something. I dunno. Whatever keeps paying the bills.

Everyone knows the only proven method of success is extreme exercise to the point of physical exhaustion while being starved of food and then success is ultimately measured as a number on a scale You Tell em, Jillian.... don't let the facts ruin your story. You got a business to run!

Another one who uses the word 'literally' without actually understanding what it means. Michaels is all over YouTube and TV desperately trying to preserve her livelihood.

Don’t get me started on that

One of my greatest bugbears in modern parlance. Literally annoying.

You’ve not, the whole biggest loser franchise (and all the other commercial weight loss lies) are based around repeated failure, it keeps ‘em rich.
It’s vile to watch them vilify the obese ‘contestants’ as fat, lazy and unintelligent in order to make themselves look even better. The condescending, fake sympathy whilst simultaneously blaming them.

I've seen the show, some many years ago.... the guilt they piled on people was disgusting. They just used people.

While I'm not bothered how the lass looks I am bothered by her ethos of 'I look like this therefore you should do what I do to look like me'. Firstly, I am not JM and am not and never have been enamoured with running around the block 27 times before breakfast every day in order to show off my supposedly attractive physique (why do these people keep getting their bits out?). Secondly, it is the lack of honesty that should be judged here imo. The woman tries to bamboozle viewers with this .... it's not even junk science.. it's just wrong.

But yes, too much make up in an effort to portray youthfulness often backfires.

Guys - Please keep personal insults relating to appearance or personal presentation to yourselves. They will not be tolerated.

Personal appearance. Isn't that her biggest selling point?

“Your cells are literally made up of those three macronutrients,” the 45-year-old trainer said, referring to fat, protein and carbohydrates."
(copied from the text right below the video. Didn't watch the video)

Be careful when you are a diabetic cannibal. Apparently there's carbs in human meat!

I thought so. For my own part, I would add that you don’t need to be attractive or well presented in order to look healthy. To look healthy you have to be healthy. Seemed pertinent to me at the time considering she’s asserting herself as an amateur nutrition scientist, but apologies if I’ve offended anyone.

Glycogen in the muscles (glucose stores) maybe? Hannibal Lecter likes to feed you Mars Bars before h eats you!
