Think your reading is a bit out of whack.Started Keto Diet 10 days ago. Took 1st keto blood reading today and reading was 1.1mmol/L.
Don't know if this is good or bad? Last HbA1c reading was 44mmol/mol and I don't take medication for diabetes.
Any view/advice would be welcome.

@trevors50uk was that a blood glucose reading or a ketones reading? If the former, I agree with @bulkbiker and @Jim Lahey
If it’s a ketone reading then you’re in optimal ketosis and that’s a great reading.

Indeed if that was a blood ketone reading then excellent you are in ketosis.
Sorry we tend to assume most readings are blood sugar rather than ketones..

I took another reading today and is was 0.9.
Also took a blood glucose reading before eating and it was 5.4 mmol/L.

My Keto last Saturday was 2.4, on Sunday 0.6 and today 0.9.
Is this variation normal? I was looking to get into ketosis and stay for a while.

Rather confused.... Diet Doctor website says …..Below 0.5 mmol/L is not considered “ketosis”. At this level, you’re far away from maximum fat-burning.If you are registering ketones then you are by definition in ketosis..
