I am 6 months pregnant and been diabetic for 28 years, I have coped well with my bloods so far through my pregnancy but this last week I have had 0.1 and 0.2 ketones I am really stressing that these ketones could harm the baby, I cant find any details about what level of ketones can cause harm to the baby. This is my first baby and I went through IVF to get pregnant. I seem to be getting ketones when my blood is 11-12. The ketones only occur in the morning and I get ride of them quickly with lots more insulin and drinking water, can anyone give reassurance and advise.
