I used 4mm for Lantus and 5mm for Actrapid and Novorapid. I had tried 4mm for Actrapid but it didn't make any difference so I continued with 5mm. I'll try 4mm again if you say soHi there @Darshan1504
rotating injection sites is really important because we take injections for a long long time.

are you using 4mm needles ( the shortest available ) ??
My doctor told me to wait till I was 18 before I could start with the pump. But I will try it as soon as possibleHave you thought about a pump? I personally don't know much about them being type 2 but many people here seem to love them. Have a look around and see.

the 4mm are just that tiny bit less intrusive if you don't have a lot of meat on your bones .
as suggested above changing needle every injection helps too.
could I possibly ask if you are in the UK ?
pumps are regularly given to children and young adults before the age of 18 here in the UK.
