I have my hound on a new dog food to help with her weight loss and one of the ingredences was L-carnitine
Well I haven't heard of it .. but thats no surprise .. I looked it up and found this ....

More benefits of L-carnitine include relief from chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetic neuropathy, peripheral vascular disease and intermittent claudication, insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes, kidney disease and dialysis

Has anyone tried this .. or is it yet another snake oil
 
As a veggie I have never viewed any of Atkins diets ... So there is hope for my dog then
