Lactulosr and BS readings

I have gestational diabetes but havibg delivered my baby a week ago i checked my fasting sugars this morning and theyvwere 5.3 then 5.8. I had taken lactulose liquid earlier in morn. Would this increase the readings does anyone no???

Yes, lactulose contains sugars and is recommended to be used with caution by those with diabetes.
