LADA? Nach 10 Jahren Typ 2 Diabetes

Hallo, ich bin ganz neu hier und möchte Euch um eine Einschätzung bitten.
Nach Einstellung auf Ozempic 1mg + Metformin 2x1000 bei einem Gewicht von 75kg/176cm, nahm ich nochmal 5kg ab. ( Bei Diabetes Typ2 seit 10 Jahren, Alter 58)
Der HbA1c blieb hoch bei 8,4.
Seit ca 1 Jahr hatte ich hohe Nüchternwerte. Ich bat um Bestimmung von AK+ C-Peptid.
vor 3 Wochen dann die Diagnose Typ 1 Diabetes. C- Peptid 2,3 GAD65 4,4 Die Diabetesassistentin überbrachte die Diagnose, setzte Lantus 8 iE an , Metformin+ Ozempic absetzen.
Bz Messungen vor der MZ , Termin in 3 Wochen zur aktivierten Insulineinstellung.
Meine Frage: ist der GAD-Wert stark erhöht?
Jetzige Nüchternwerte liegen sehr hoch.
Warum kein Metformin+ Lantus?
(wg. Gluconeogenese)

ich habe bisher keine ärztliche Aufklärung.
vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen die Werte einzuordnen.

Do you know what units C-peptide and anti GAD were measured in?
Not every country (or even every lab in the same country) uses the same units, which can cause confusion.

Both dropping the metformin and keeping the metformin are quite usual after a rediagnosis from T2 to LADA. So if you'd prefer to keep the metformin for now, why not ask your Diabetesassistentin if she would agree to that?

I've used metformin myself for about 8 months during the past year to see if it would make a difference. Didn't seem to do much for me so I stopped it again.
But I've heard from other LADA's that for some it is a great help, so it can definitely be useful for some with LADA, and it's not all that unusual to take metformin alongside insulin.

May I ask, is the Diabetesassistentin associated with your Hausarzt or part of a hospital diabetes team?

Hello, I'm new here and would like to ask you for an opinion.

After adjusting to Ozempic 1mg + Metformin 2x1000 at a weight of 75kg/176cm, I lost another 5kg. (With type 2 diabetes for 10 years, age 58)

HbA1c remained high at 8.4.

For about 1 year I had high fasting values. I asked for determination of AK+ C-Peptide.

3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. C- peptide 2.3 GAD65 4.4 The diabetes assistant brought the diagnosis, started Lantus 8 iU, stopped metformin + Ozempic.

Bz measurements before the MZ, appointment in 3 weeks for activated insulin adjustment.

My question: is the GAD value greatly increased?

Current sober values are very high.

Why not Metformin+ Lantus?

(due to gluconeogenesis)
