Oh RRB I order Anne French Cleansing Milk from Ebay as I love it still! Also used to love the Lemon Delph cleansing milk and toner but sadly no longer available. I might start a thread about 'things we used to get but no longer can"!Oh I remember that, horse chestnut in it ? or is that another product ? That has brought back memories for the 1970's when I used Anne French cleansing milk/cream, it had a lovely scent

I will always remember the birthday present my sister gave me when I was about 12. Starting to grow up ... she gave me 2 pairs of Marks and Spencer knickers one pair in different shades of pale blue and mauve, the other shade of lemon and apricot, with a bar of Aqua Manda soap inside. That is when my love affair started with Aqua Manda. I got a bottle of the fragrance of Ebay once but of course it was old and I only really used the talc, soap and bath oil in my youth. Those were the days :-(I just goggled it and I remember having this perfume. Back in the 1970's I started my first proper 9 to 5 job,and I wore his perfume and its making a comeback ? oh this thread has brought back so many wonderful memories
Oh yes I remember Charlie, in the pale blue box! You can still get it, though I wouldn't wear it nowAnybody remember Charlie? This was my first bottle bought by my parents when I was 13. Then l'air du temps, Paloma picasso, Oscar de la Renta, Beautiful, CK1 and for the last 10 years Evelyn Rose by Crabtree and Evelyn or crabby and evil as Mr Scandi likes to call it!
Yes it's exactly the same. I also love Ponds Cold Cream and the Lemon Cold Cream which I have been sourcing through ebay in Thailand but it only comes in a small jar but it's pretty cheap and I just love it!Oh yes, I would love you too start a threadDoes the Anne French still have that gorgeous soft subtle scent ?
I hadn't thrown my bottle. For some reason it moved house and ended up in the toiletries box. My kids wee rooting through the box and left it on floor. Mr Scandi picked it up, put it on the glass shelf above the sink, reached for his razor, knocked it off the shelf and it landed in the sink, smashing a hole in it!Oh yes I remember Charlie, in the pale blue box! Love L'air Du Temps, haven't had any for yonks. I did buy myself some Coty L'Aimant talc and cream perfume from ebay recently, it reminds me of my Mum. Remember Revlon Moondrops? I remember working at a hotel in Bournemouth when I was about 16 and someone gave me a $5 tip. So excited, I rushed over to Debbenhams and bought a massive bottle for a fiver and promptly dropped the glass bottle and smashed it :-(
Haha I did that in our last house .. had a lovely old fashioned pedestal sink/stand and opened the bathroom cupboard, something fell out and smashed a hole in the sink. Expensive!I hadn't thrown my bottle. For some reason it moved house and ended up in the toiletries box. My kids wee rooting through the box and left it on floor. Needless to say the bottle was completely in tact!Unlike the sink!
Gingham and Tweed? You're showing your age, MikeThe fair ladies have taken over the thread ..... long may it live ......
I still remember asking the odd stranger what they wore in terms of perfume .... and everyone of them melted. Nothing like a compliment if you meant it. And I did.
How else would I know about gingham and tweed?
I've heard that perfume is supposed to smell like the old Goya Aqua Manda? Oh how I still dream of that beautiful oatmeal soap and bathoil! I know they've released it in England but heard it's not the same.
Yes!I believe it was Aqua Manda that inspired Karma , patchouli oil, orange oil and spices of the exotic orient
I didn't know they had re released Aqua Manda ? I must check that out and let you know ! ( online, of course, there's ****** all shops anywhere near here that stock stuff that isn't farm related . There's a whole aisle of Equine beauty stuff , but sod all for humans)

Who remembers Eau de Paris? My mum used to buy this in Woolworths in a little blue bottle.
Oh dear that's no good! I tried to source some Karma from Dusk over here but they'd never heard of it! I think Debenhams stock Aqua Manda, otherwise you can get it here http://www.aquamandaperfume.com/.Yes!I believe it was Aqua Manda that inspired Karma , patchouli oil, orange oil and spices of the exotic orient

I've not tried it .. I want some of the soap and talc but the postage is so high to Oz that it works out expensive .. normally I'd not mind but I've heard it's not like the old Aqua Manda. Maybe someone on here could go to Debenhams and sample it and let us all know!
