It were a really cheap after shave similar in cheapness to Hai Karate

Ah yes Signy, I'm with you on this stuff. My favourite cleansers are Anne French and Ponds Lemon Cold Cream (or the normal one). And I'm on my 2nd jar of Oil of Ulay face crème, if only for the smell! I bought a huge jar of Astral body crème off Facebook as I hadn't had any for years. I also miss the Boots No.17 skin toner.

And what about the Mornay products? Do you still get them? I liked the French Fern and Liberty.

I love the smell of Nivea! And Evelyn rose. I love roses!

My grown up daughter bought me a tea light candleholder and two oils that are added to the top, Grapefruit and Patchouli, but teenager is not keen on the latter, but the grapefruit is just lovely

Can't bear patchouli. My dad had an aftershave in and if he beat me to the bathroom I used to hold my breath! Strange how we all like different smells.

Amazing how our noses remembers scents and we can relate
smells and scents to our deepest memories .

lol, I do like to get things nice, uncluttered, clean and tidy, but if theres some dust, oh well, not to worry, as it would be just a house and not a loving home

Is Evelyn Rose the Cabtree & Evelyn one. Went into the shop the other day and they seem to have got really expensive (not that they were cheap anyway). I usually buy their Rosewater, but I've found a rose scented shower gel in Body Shop to try out

Some old names there. I think it was Jovan who did the musk, in an orange box. They used to do a frankinsence & mhyrr fragrance that you can't get anymore.

Yes. It's because they only make eau de parfumerie now.
Smell is slightly different too!

Geranium and bergamont is quite a nice mix of oils to put in an oil burner

My dad used to wear Old Spice. But nearly every Christmas, my dad would get Avon's men aftershave from my then SIL, he wasn't overly keen, but wouldn't say, don't remember the names though.
