Ah yes Signy, I'm with you on this stuff. My favourite cleansers are Anne French and Ponds Lemon Cold Cream (or the normal one). And I'm on my 2nd jar of Oil of Ulay face crème, if only for the smell! I bought a huge jar of Astral body crème off Facebook as I hadn't had any for years. I also miss the Boots No.17 skin toner.Oh, thanks for that ! I'm going to check it out and will report back with my findings . All in the interests of altruistic research, you understand !
When did they stop making Delph ?I used use that, but stRted earning more so went an a posh experimental splurge . When I tried to find it again, years later, it had disappeared .
I did discover along the experimental journey that simpler and cheaper things were better for me, and most of the high end stuff didn't deliver what it claimed, and often brought me out in a ( very expensive! ) rash

Yeah, see what I mean .. then you add the postage of Oz ... bloody expensive bar of soap, though I could keep it in me knicker drawer, it would last longer that way!Blooming Eck!
What a shame they didn't recreate the prices of the 60's and 70's ! £4 for a bar of soap and £14.50 for talc !

And what about the Mornay products? Do you still get them? I liked the French Fern and Liberty.
Avon's Pretty Peach sop on a rope and cream perfume in a tub with little peaches moulded on the lid
Yes I know what u mean re. the Oil of Ulay/Ulan/Olay, whatever the heck it's called these days! Oh yes I love the Bronnley Lemon Stuff and anything Lemon Verbena. Something else I used to love was the Boots brand bath oil/foam. Probably pine or something. And my lovely green Fairy Toilet Soap is another thing of the past now. Also my first bottle of Foundation - Taylor of London. Just lovely. I wonder why they stop making things?I managed to get Ponds on eBay, Astral is still available though ! Why is it that only the original Ulay had that lovely smell ? All of the high tech versions don't have it . I don't know if you can still buy Mornay, but I remember French Fern was a lovely one. I also loved the small of Bronnelly Lemon Soap, that was shaped like a lemon

My Mum used to like one from Avon called Wishing .... and she liked Yardley's Fleur. I do still love Yardley's Old English Cologne.Ooh , I remember that ! Can almost smell it now ! I seem to remember Avon used to have really unusual and interesting packaging for their fragrance lines. There was one I can't remember the name of that was blue with a cameo on it ?

love that picture of the Aqua Manda products I can smell that lovely orangey spicy smell now. Anyone remember Hyponotique by Max Factor? My best friend and I had a crush on our English teacher when we were 15 years old and before his lessons we would spray on aforesaid perfume. The innocence of youth a? The smell must have been over powering

Yes, I forgot Avon did the fancy bottles for men too, and there was one , it's on the edge of my memory what it was called, that always made me snigger. Neanderthal, perhaps ?
