Lancet Drums

I have what is probably a dumb question. How do I dispose of used Lancet drums? Do I need to arrange a hygienic ‘sharps’ disposal or can they just go into the household waste?
 
I just put them in the household waste - there is no sharp bit exposed to perfectly safe to do that :)
 
Sometimes my Fastclix drums get popped in my empty test strip pots if I have one handy. But I agree it's quite OK to just bin them as they're self contained.
