Probably a really stupid question but i'll ask it anyway, have just bought a meter to test my blood, does a fresh lancet need to be changed after every use as only have 10 at the moment and is going to work out expensive if i need to use three a day?
 
I just changed mine yesterday.. after about oooo 6 months...

Edit to add .. At the outset (Oct 2015) I bought about 300 I still have about 280 left...
 
A lot of people use their lancets multiple times. I reuse mine until they get blunt and hurt! Medical advice would be to discard after single use but then they also recommend that I eat brown rice, pasta, etc.

Thanks, strangely enough the Pharmacist told me earlier that wholemeal bread brown rice and pasta was ok to eat earlier aswell.
 
I dial in a new lancet in my Multiclix when I go through a pot of fifty strips each week.
