Lancing device

Hi guys

My lancing device appears to be broken - would I get another on prescription tomorrow from gp or should I order one tonight ?

Ring the manufacturer up and they'll send one out for free, alternatively ask your diabetes clinic if they have some spare.

while you are ringing for the lancing device -- ask them for a spare meter as well--always handy to have for holidays and anytime you are away from home ( i always take a spare meter with me on holiday just in case )

Hi thanks , I will do - I was thinking about that as I go in couple weeks . I got new batteries for it but worth having like you say

You would have thought they would automatically give spares of these things ...

forgive them ... they are only medical peeps doing a job and they do not think of real people living real lives where a meter malfunctions in spain on a sunday evening and one is feeling a bit hypo
