Anyone know if a Lantus cartridge will fit in a Novopen Echo pen? I love that the Echo tells you what your last dose was and since I change my Lantus every day, it's a pain to write it down.

Have you not tried it Sam? I'd be surprised if it did mind.

Unfortunately not.... Aventis and Lilly cartridges are made using one design and Novo use their own unique design

That's a shame. I use the disposable pens so haven't had the chance to try myself.

I use an Echo for my Levemir and it's great, so I tried to fit my Apidra cartridge from Aventis into it but no luck. I use the Lilly Humapen Luxura HD for my Apidra because for some crazy reason Aventis don't make a half unit pen. I prefer the Echo because of the memory thing but it doesn't even get close to taking Aventis cartridges
