Type 2 Lantus pens X 3

I have three brand new pens of lantus

Unused and have been kept in the fridge

I have been taken off lantus by my gp

Don't want them to go to waste as they are so expensive and could ultimately help someone

My pharmacist said they can't take them back

Which I do understand

Just feel like £250+ worth of medication that is in perfect condition shouldn't go to waste

Any suggestions ?
 
I don't know but if doc takes me off a medicine and I have some left I ask if OK to use it up before I Stop or Change, I suppose it depends why he took you off

If Lantus Solostar surprised at 250 price as you can buy here 3800 pper box of 5
approx. 90 pound per box 18 per pen

MIMS state for Lantus - 5 x 3ml SoloStar pre-filled pen=£41.50 currently
