Message: <blockquote data-quote="stewpid" data-source="post: 155555" data-attributes="member: 13290">Hi,It's a while since I've been on the forum, but it's amazing how relevant this thread is to the reason I'm back on.I did a dose ajustment course about a year ago and I was really pleased with the difference it made to me.  My regular readings were down in the 6's and my HbA1c was the lowest it has ever been (diagnosed Type 1 in Jan 1999).However, in the past 6-8 weeks I seem to have lost all control.  Despite doing the usual calculations on dosage (Humalog) I have been as high as 14-16 two hours after meals and had to take some pretty big correction doses.  I have increased my Lantus Solostar from 12 to 14 to 16, but still my morning readings have been more than 8 on most occasions.For example last night I went to bed at 9.4, and did some night-time tests when I was 9.0 at 1.00am, and 9.3 at 3.00am.  When I got up this morning I was still at 8.0.At lunchtime I was 8.7 pre lunch and having had only a cheese sandwich (with 7 units of Humalog) I was 12.6 two hours after lunch.  Previously I would have been 8-10 at most.What could be making the difference?  To be honest it's getting me confused and  worried  :?
