How do you know when lantus units needs to go up? Because my daughter is high all day and hypo in the morning? So I'm not sure. We recently brought up her lantus but she is still high throughout the day.
Usually the basal dose can be determined be basal testing - https://mysugr.com/basal-rate-testing/ - but it's going to be a bit difficult to do that on a 2 year old really.
You realy need to keep a record of insulin dosage, carbs eaten, & blood sugar levels? This will help your daughter's HCPs to help you both.
I notice you have a similar thread regarding this issue. Would you like me or another member of the DCUK team to merge it with this thread? https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/constant-highs.135105/
This could save you confusion on your query keeping the subject in one place..
While were at it. I could bundle the thread into a more appropriate section too?
