Hi I am a type 1 diabetic. I take humulog fast acting and Lantus slow release. I have run out of Lantus. Is it ok to give it a miss until Monday i.e. 2 days?

No!
Please don't go without your Lantus for 2 days. Not enough insulin can cause very high blood glucose, and ketoacidosis (DKA) which is very dangerous.
If you're in the UK, please call 111 for advice on how to get insulin during the weekend.
@RomaToy
How long have you had diabetes and how much Lantus do you take?
I agree with @Antje77 that going without can be very dangerous.
However, when I was first diagnosed and still in the early stages of my honeymoon period taking low doses of insulin, my diabetes kit was once locked in a National Rail office overnight. After a bit of a panic and visit to the local A&E, I discovered my levels were low enough that I was ok without my Lantus for one night.
I was also taught how to correct with fast acting insulin if the lack of Lantus caused my levels to rise too high. In a way, become a very crude insulin pump taking fast acting insulin every 2 hours.
This is far from ideal and I learned a very valuable lesson. But the point is, if our insulin dose is low, we can avoid DKA when we have no slow acting insulin, especially if we still have fast acting.
