LAPL/PPL Holders.

Do we have any Lapl/ppl license holders on this forum? Before the start of the pandemic I was 3 lessons into my training. For obvious reasons things have been put on hold. When I started the training my plan was to take it slow, 1 lesson every 2 weeks so that I could get a good record on my blood glucose meter ready for the medical.

Anyway, on the 7th of January I moved from injections to the 780G pump with Medtronics CGM. The sensor only requires 2 blood glucose calibration tests per day, so at a minimum I’m doing 2 meter tests per day. My question is are you able to use your CGM as proof of control for the medical or do you still need the minimum 3 blood tests per day on a meter?

My plan on moving forward is to use the rest of the lockdown to make sure I have a near perfect log so that I can go straight in for my medical before spending anymore cash on lessons. If the CGM results are accepted I’ll have a good 5/6month of really good readings recorded. If not I’ll have to up my game & make sure I continuously have at least 3 meter readings per day at the ready!

Any help from any type 1 that’s been through the process would be great. Thanks

Hi.
I'm new here
I'm currently trying to determine my ability to gain NPPL and carry passengers. It looks like it may be possible with the right medical and a fully redundant insulin pump etc.
I'm very early on in my reading up on the subject
