Hba1c - 40
Weight - stable
Cholesterol - gone from 5.8 to 6 but no lipid profile done so the invitation to a statin debate was quickly stopped
Liver function - good
Kidney function - stable ( createnine has been on the high end of normal for the last 8-9 years)

After 18 years since diagnosis I'm a very happy bunny, next review in a year

Well done on your results. Excellent HbA1c. I can't for the life of me understand why GP's still pay so much attention to total cholesterol and no attention to the breakdown. There is a lot of scientific evidence out there to show how important low triglycerides are in reducing CVD. I am currently having this debate with my own GP.

Well done, better if they'd done a full lipid breakdown of your cholesterol.
