My clinic appointment to pick up my results was cancelled on the morning :arghh: of the appointment so I got a print out but have not discussed them with my DN.

The good - my HbA1C is down from 69 to 52 :)

I can't work out much about my Cholesterol from the numbers given (have a thread on this in Ask a Question) and I don't have a baseline so going to wait until I can get another appointment to discuss.

I have Stage 2 Chronic Kidney Disease - this was no surprise to me as I have had kidney infections quite a lot over my adult life despite being alcohol free for the last 16 years. Quick Google suggested Stage 2 is a 'watching brief' situation.

Weight - a bit of a confused situation as I had started to lose weight from February this year before my diabetes diagnosis and I'm not sure where I started :) I usually 'top out ' at 11st 4lbs but I'm not sure I was that high in February. But as of today I'm 9st 5lbs :) and very close to being out of the overweight BMI (I'm only 5 ft so this loss has seen me move down a couple of dress sizes- yay!)

So overall I'm happy :) I've found the LCHF way of life sooooo easy to stick to and doing my monitoring had given me a good indication that my HbA1C would be lower!

Well Done @Chunters! Great HbA1c and weight reductions, keep up the good work! LCHF is obviously working for you. :)

I'm so pleased for you @Chunters you are doing everything you can to look after your health. A huge "very well done" from me
