If you are having acid reflux of any description the garlic, tomatoes, onion should go. A garlic tablet each may be tolerated..providing it says a non odourless type... I had full blown erosive stomach gastritis... and some acid started due to that... since stopping the food listed as suggested by my gastro chap I have had no problems at all.. took about a month to come good again. I cannot tolerate tablets like omeprazole or POI's such as gaviscon.. and heck why should I have to take extra meds due to my stomach just not tolerating certain foods. Far better and cheaper to stop those foods. I still have pesto n cream cheese so this is just as good as garlic and tomatos!! I still have oil oil of oregano and garlic for my bloods because I cant eat onion and garlic... what I dont spend on p e food I aoend on other food or tablets that I can tolerate and dont harm my stomach. If anybody is having reflux or acid.... it is a warning that your stomachs dont like the foods you are eating... and easily sortable instead of adding tablets and medicines with more side effects etc. My gastroenteroligist quite happy with leaving me with adjusted eating rather than meds with side effects... x
