I found I was the same as you when I started, trying to get as near to 5 as possible with every finger prick. I soon worked out that in the 5-6 range (which meant cutting ALL carbs out or as many as humanly possible) that I was very irritable but put that down to the lack of food available to me. I then started eating a little of what I fancied taking me to the 6-8 range, (8 being 2 hours after eating) and found that because I was including stuff I liked, I was a lot happier. On top of that, with lots of walking, I was still losing weight. I have now lost 5kgs (over 10lbs) in 16 days. On the 1st of this month I was 81kgs (12st 11lbs), today I weighed in at 76kgs (11st 13lbs). Now I'm not saying this will work for everybody but I know it works for me.I've been on lchf diet for 8 days. My sugar levels are good (in the 5's with occasional 6) but last 2 days I feel bluuugghhh!!
Yesterday I was very tired and dizzy. Today still a little dizzy and very snappy and irritable.
Is this down to low carbs? If so will it stop???
My first thought was that you'd dropped the dough on the floorI'm staying strong (not easy though) I made some oopsie bread today, which was lovely! Made a sandwich out of it for lunch and smothered it in homemade garlic butter to go with musacka tonight.mmmmmmm!.
