I just cook with coconut oil, butter, olive oil, use healthy oils and vinegars and citrus as salad dressings, very low or no sugar mayos, eat gloriously fatty cuts of meat, chew on pork crackling, high meat content sausies all good, have cream in my coffee, and don't worry about the fat content of anything. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Arial'"></span></p><p><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">My partner has been eating moderate carbs for years, since post my diagnosis. I figure that it is healthy for him too. If you consider that really healthy blood glucose levels, as in - optimum is an HBA1c of the late 20s very low 30s - that puts a non-diabetic's blood glucose (BG) levels into perspective. As we live in such a high carb/high sugar food environment even non-diabetics have what I would consider at least - too high BG levels for optimal health. That is a long way of saying - it's great to be LCHF for a non-diabetic too!</span></p></blockquote><p></p>
